Short Biography of Kiran Desai
She was born in Chandigarh in middle class family in 1971 but she passed her precious time of childhood in Pune and Mumbai. She completed her study in creative writing from Columbia University and she was the daughter of well known author. She got popularity from her first book 'Hullabaloo in The Guava Orchard' and she won the Booker Prize for 'The Inheritance Of Loss'. In her book, she explained the life of women who were in poor condition. She reported to the community of sex workers in the society in 'Night claims The Godavari'. Her work was also published in the international magazine like 'New York '. She wrote many articles and heart touching short stories but themes related to the pitiable condition of women in the male dominated society.
She wanted to remove cultural barriers and restrictions for women from the society through her great works. Literary art is in her blood but beyond that art she goes to find out the miseries of women and her voices of heart could be suppressed by the people in the society because men don't want to accept the the loud voice in Patrorchy system . She wrote for that voices against exploitation.
