Short Biography of Ira Trivedi

Ira Trivedi is an excellent Indian writer, born in 1988 in Lucknow ,Uttar Pradesh. She got quality education from different parts of the country,graduated in Economics and MBA from Columbia University. She hails from upper middle class family. Art of writing is also in her blood like Kamala Das because her grandmother 'Kranti Devi ',a popular Indian author. She is a devoted yoga instructor in New Delhi. She wrote mostly for the children for positive energy of yoga. She has been writing a number of articles for newspapers and magazines. She wants a revolution in the society regarding issues of women and gender. She won the awards for innovation of thoughts;she is the only girl to talk internationally about Marriage and Sexuality. She is unmarried till date but very confident to talk about any burning social issue. She always comes on the news channels in India to speak boldly about the issues of sexual exploited women. She has written 8 famous books from penguin publishing house. Her first famous book "India in Love:Marriage and Sexuality in 21st century ".I think, she wants to promote social revolution in the system of marriage and sexuality through her art of writing. In fact, her first non fiction devided into sections like Marriage and Sexuality. She is gradually climbing up on height of writing burning issues of women today. Her another famous book "The Great Indian Love Story ",is fantastic because in this book she dealt the contradictions of gender inequality and discrimination of women. I think, she explains here the problems of ground level. Her quality is spreading around us day by day. She took a place in the world of Indian women writers.
