Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind

 “Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind”, this poem has been extracted from Shakespeare’s play ‘As You Like It’. Shakespeare presented this song in that play because he was closely to the ingratitude of man. He is widely known as the Lighthouse of English.  He wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets. After marriage to Anne Hathway,he soon moved to London.Within a few years, he was well known as a leading actor and playwright. His is great plays as Hamlet(1602), Othello(1604), King Lear(1605), Macbeth (1606),The Merchant of Venice(1596),Twelfth Night (1601),The Tempest and he also wrote a number of of articles in his literary career. He was very close to watch The Human Relationship in his life.  Here,I am going to explain in this poem, is about man's ingratitude.The cold winter wind does not cause much suffering as men’s ingratitude.
      “Blow,Blow,Thou Winter Wind,
             Thou art not so unkind,
             As man's ingratitude;
             Thy tooth is not so keen,
             Because thou art not seen,
          Although thy breath be rude.
He wants to explain this stanza through his bottom of feelings. I think,he was not waiting for the taste of English in England but instead of that English was waiting for him to be decorated with his unbroken skills. He wants to share his feeling when his friend forgets him after taking the benefits of him then man’s hurt might be broken into different segments. Every pain of nature could be faced and acceptable by the man but man’s ingratitude could not be acceptable and faced.It is more dangerous than force of nature.
 He said that man’s ingratitude is so hard than the unbearable force of nature. People can bear the bitter and sharp teeth of nature but they cannot bear ingratitude of man. The poet wants to say that through these lines friendship is false. Man’s false friendship stings by bitter teeth to human heart deeply in the society. The poet also wants to show the comparison between cruel hands of man and the bitter teeth of nature. He boldly said that love, affection, affair and relationship are false and opportunist. “Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly. “He wants to clear the statement through this line that the pain, problem and grief can be seen but the teeth of nature can not be seen. He wants to free the flow of nature because not more harmful but when we talk about false friendship of man, he clears that it is more harmful. He says that false friendship could not bear. It’s a great example of false friendship of man, I think the human relationship in the society could be judged closely by him in his life.
                           At last, after going through all these lines of the poem, I myself would like to open the lock of my heart that he shows his best qualities and techniques to the song of heart for better understanding the human relationship in the society. He also used many poetic devices and rhythmic styles. He especially focused in this poem personification and metaphor. Shakespeare’s poem presents the real picture of human relationship. Finally, he wants to convey a message to us that most of human beings live in false world with false relationship.
