The Guide:Raju's life after release from jail

The Guide is a story of Raju's romance, his greed for money, his sin and repentance. It is also the story of Every man's growth from the ordinary to the extraordinary, from the railway guide to the spiritual guide  the story is divided into two parts, firstly, traces the growth of Raju as a child and a young man who fell in love with an unhappy women who had insatiable hunger to be a dancer. This part of the story closes with Raju imprisonment.  Secondly, shows Raju's growth into a Swami after his release from the jail. Here, I am going to explain the second part of the story. As we know that Raju is a transformational character, once a tourist guide, a jail bird and a lover of Rosie. After jail, he has started leading a lonely life on the bank of a river near Mangla village. He is sitting there cross legged beside an ancient shrine. The sun is setting fast beyond the hills at a distance. A man called velan from Mangala village across the river is before him. Velan has come there after visiting his sister and daughter from a nearby village. Raju listens to him and strikes his beard to know if it has grown again. Velan says Raju the problem of his step sister who is not willing to accept the plan of marriage. Upon Raju's advice velan brings the girl to him. She comes there and touches Raju's feet. Raju is posing like a true saint. Before that event, he has given a banana to the shepherd boy and tells him to go to say to your uncle that a man has returned. The banana works miracles. The running door to door and making announcement that a priest is back in the temple. The villagers, men, women and children come there to darshan of him in a large number.
When Raju tells that the voice of the village are not getting any education.  He advises The villagers to conduct classes for the education of the boys in the temple itself in the evening and the schoolmaster from village is called to look after the work of educating the children.  The classes start with half a dozen children. Children are afraid of the crocodiles that frequently part of the river but Raju says in saintly manner. what can a crocodile do to you if your mind is clear.  Gradually the number increases to him, Raju also speaks to the students occasionally on holiness, cleanness, and is spoken Ramayana. He addresses them on all kinds of things. He has noticed by his own voice and he felt himself growing in stature as he saw the updated faces of children Shining In The Half light when he speaks no one was more impressed with the grandfather of human being. He comments humorously; it is in this way that saints are  made and Raju is fast moving on the road of Sainthood. Infact, Raju has read a great deal of philosophy, religion, art and culture when he was a railway shopkeeper, he was making use of his past studies.
Children hear him with rapt attention, they and their parents are enchanted by his talk. Raju talks in aphorisms and thus impresses them with his wisdom and knowledge. His popularity gradually increases, soon women also start to come. The floor and corridor are full with audiences. No place is vacant there. His influence is growing and trapping the mind set of people of different ages. He is not giving only chanted voice but also giving philosophy. He is also giving numerous solutions to people's problem by his philosophical views. Gradually, he strengthens there. People also come there with family disputes and quarrels. He does his work as a holly man having full strength and having capacity to deal each problem. He gets mastery over the society in solving problems and challenges. In this way, Railway Raju acquires the status of a saint. So that, man is the product of circumstance in the world.
